Cat sets off on a musical journey singing her way to the very top. A classically trained vocalist from the Royal academy of music and self taught guitarist Cat releases her first track Triggerman off her debut album 9 Lives on 25th August.
Produced and recorded at The Mill Studios in Swords, by Ger McDonnell, who has previously worked with U2, Kasabian, The Cure and Martha Wainwright it places Cat in esteemed company.
Influenced by artists such as Nina Simone, Bob Dylan,Maria Callas and Otis Redding, Cat creates her own blend of Blues and Soul with a sassy twist. This seemless songstress belts through the 9 original self penned catchy tunes written in both major and minor from Triggerman to Requiem that provides evidence that Cat is a truly accomplished wordsmith with the voice of an angel. To date this Dubliner has served up treats for audiences as far afield as New York and sent them into a frenzied fever that could possibly have breathed life back into sweet Molly Malone.
